Ms. Siess presently works in an Emergency Department. This exposes her to all age groups and all medical and traumatic problems. Seeing a vast number of patients with problems as simple as an ear ache to a Myocardial Infarction, Cardiac Arrest. Ms. Siess is experienced, and educated. Prior to working in the Emergency Department, Ms. Siess worked as a Flight Nurse. Her duties included caring for critically ill patients across international waters, providing life saving treatments. She was also a Medical Coordinator in which she was responsible for organizing the flights, gathering medical information from the pick up hospital locations, (which were many times in foreign countries), relaying medical information to the destination hospitals, and deciding on the proper medical crew for that flight. All this in time coordination with dispatch for the flight plan.

Most of Ms Siess’s Nursing experience is in Pediatrics. Having worked Pediatric Home Care and Pediatric Intensive Care, her vast knowledge with the ill and injured child is extensive. She was a part of the Pediatric Transport Team, caring for critically ill or injured children during flight to appropriate skilled hospitals.

Upon graduating Nursing School, Ms. Siess landed her first job in a private Psychiatric Hospital. She worked all the units there, which included Children, Adolescents, Adults, and Geriatrics.

Her first true job after High School, was working in Emergency Medical Services. Working in the field for 10 years as a Paramedic, rendering care to the medical and trauma patients. Providing exceptional skills in IV’s, intubations, motor vehicle extractions, orthopedic and hemodynamic stabilization. Ms. Siess was the company Quality Assurance Manager, reviewing EMS charts for proper documentation, proper treatments and following proper protocols. She also represented EMS on the Trauma Committee Team, acting as the liaison between the trauma surgeons and the medics in the field to ensure the highest quality treatment for the trauma patient.
