Tammy Sue Schossler is a professor of nursing with over thirty years of healthcare experience. She has a Master of Science in Nursing with an Emergency Medicine emphasis. She is currently in the dissertation phase of her PhD in Nursing Education. She has a wealth of experience having served for twenty years in the United States Army Nurse Corps specializing in Emergency Medicine, Quality and Risk Management.

After retiring from the military, Tammy moved into the role of nursing educator. She has taught in the classroom, skills lab and in clinical settings. She has led preparation and action plan efforts for multiple Joint Commission accreditation surveys. Her expertise in the subject matter of evidence-based practice and research, allows for quick and efficient compiling of research to support medical legal cases. Tammy is also experienced in performance improvement, medical record review and developing timelines.
